Diagnostic Camouflage:
Unraveling AuDHD when Autism and ADHD Obscure Each Other
3 NBCC CEs • January 21, 2027 at 9 am PT • $210
On Demand Launching January 28th
Live Course with Dr. Jess Hogan, PsyD, LP and Jamie Roberts, LMFT
About this course:
You've sat with the assessment, reviewed the history, and you still aren't sure. Is it ADHD masking as Autism? Autism that looks like ADHD? Both? Neither? Diagnostic Camouflage takes you inside one of the most complex and commonly misread presentations in neurodivergent assessment. Two AuDHD clinicians with years of assessment experience pull back the curtain on how Autism and ADHD overlap, obscure, and occasionally impersonate each other — and how to tell the difference when it actually matters.

Distinguish AuDHD from autism or ADHD alone using developmental history, internal experiences, functional impact, and patterns across settings.
Identify assessment practices that contribute to missed or incomplete AuDHD diagnoses, including reliance on stereotypes, observable behavior, and cutoff scores.
Integrate interview, collateral, behavioral, and testing data into a neurodiversity-affirming AuDHD case conceptualization and differential diagnosis.
