For clinicians well versed in the neurodiversity paradigm who are ready to provide affirming diagnostic assessments that bridge the gap between self identifying and neuropsych testing. This course features an affirming clinical interview that has undergone 12 years of refinement. While utilizing this method, you will feel confident providing diagnostic assessments.
It is highly recommended that you have previous training in Autism, ADHD and the Neurodiversity Paradigm. This training begins with the assumption you are well versed in understanding and differentiating between comorbid neurodiversity labels. Always verify the scope of practice of your license with your state licensing board.

Course Objectives
Participants will assess existing legal and ethical considerations for diagnostic assessments and employ assessment practices that fit within legal and ethical requirements.
Participants will evaluate logistical structures in order to establish accessible assessment procedures for equitable access.
Participants will build competence with seven validated, evidence-based assessment tools to utilize in their diagnostic assessments.
Participants will accurately assess and diagnose for ADHD and Autism through a neurodiversity-affirming lens, offering accurate, comprehensive, and high-quality assessment services.
Participants will modify existing assessment protocols to integrate neurodiversity-affirming approaches to diagnostic assessment.
Participants will design templates for neurodiversity-affirming diagnostic assessments for implementation in their clinical practice.

Meet the Instructor
Jamie Roberts, LMFT
Jamie (she/her) is an AuDHD NeuroQueer LMFT in California. She has been providing psychosocial assessments since 2014, beginning in a psychiatry practice specializing in neurodevelopemental disorders. Jamie is the founder of NeuroPebble and sees clients in her group practice Equilibrium Counseling Services.
